The Albany Folk’n Shanty Festival Pass is the best way to ensure that you get the most from the 2021 festival. Included in your pass is a hop on hop off bus service that will operate between 9am to 6pm on the 10th and 11th of July calling at:
- The Boatshed
- The Albany Visitor Centre
- The Brig Amity
- Limeburners Distillery
- Princess Royal Sailing Club
- Albany’s Historic Whaling Station
- Buses will call at each location approximately once an hour.
You will receive entry into Albany’s Historic Whaling Station where you will be able to enjoy live shanty performances as well as discover more about Albany’s whaling history.
Ensure that you have guaranteed entry to the main event of your choice, select from either the Friday or Saturday night performance at the Albany Entertainment Centre or the Saturday night performance at the Albany Boatshed.
After purchasing your pass, you will receive a confirmation email. To collect your Pass take your confirmation email to either
- The Albany Visitor Centre 9th of July between 10am and 4pm
- The Albany Entertainment Centre 9th of July between 5pm and 7pm
- The Albany Visitor Centre 10th of July between 10am and 2pm
The Albany Folk’n Shanty Festival feel it is important to explain that cost of the pass pays for the bus, entry to Albany’s Historic Whaling Station and the cost of administering and selling the pass. The ticket to a main event of your choice is a free element of the pass. You do not need to purchase a pass to get a ticket to one of the main events, tickets will be released on the shantyfest.com website shortly before the festival.
